 Hallo, Germknodel auf Englisch? (12) | | Hallo!
Ich bin neu and meine Deutsch ist nicht sehr gut. Entschuldigen sie mich! Ich habe in Deutschland gelebt um funf jahre vor und ich liebt der spiese! Ich will machen Germknodel, obstplunde, und brotchen, aber Ich hat ein schwierig zeit ubersetzung die rezepts. Haben sie rezepts auf Englisch? Vielen dank!

Here is the next recipe. I hadn't so much time to translate it , so maybe something is misunderstanding. Just ask if you have questions. The "German" weights are from the recipe, I hope my calculated weights are correct.
Plunder dough (recipe from: www.chefkoch.de)
Ingredients :
600 g (21oz) flour
a pinch of salt
1 packet vanilla sugar (8gr / 0.28oz)
50 g (1.8oz) sugar
1 egg
50 g (1.8oz) butter soft
125 ml (4.5 fl oz) Milk lukewarm
1 dice (40 g / 1.4 oz) yeast
100 g (3.5oz) butter
Preparation:
sieve 500g (17.6oz) of the flour in a bowl and mix it with the sugar and the vanilla sugar.
cut the soft butter in small pieces add it to the flour sugar mix and knead all to a dough.
Mix the milk with the egg and the yeast and add it to the dough. Knead the dough for 5 min. Put it for 2 hours to a warm place to expand.
mix the butter with the rest of the flour and keep it cold.
after the dough expand knead the dough again and let it expand for 2 hours again.
Roll out the dough until it is 1 cm (0.4in) high. Put the butter flour mix in the middle (maybe you should roll it out to a board) and pull the edges of the dough over it. Roll the dough out until it is double in size. Fold the dough in the middle and put one side of the dough on the other. Roll the dough out until it is double in size. repeat this 4 to 6 times.
This recipe has no baking time or temperature. I think 200°C (392 Fahrenheit) for 20 min should be ok.
I asked a baker about the fruit topping. She said:
Take some fruits you like and cut them into small pieces.
Melt some Apricot jam.
Put a bit of the apricot jam on the Plunderteilchen (after the baking)
Put the cutted fruits on the apricot jam and cover the fruits with some of the melted apricot jam.
Next I will add the recipe for Kaiserbrötchen

Danke schoen! Ein duetsche mart? A German Food store is what I was trying to say. haha Ihre schokolade auswahl war gut, und sie haben gehat ein paar gutes spiese aber der mart war klein. Aber sehr gut! :)

instead of "allgemeines Brötchen" "normales Brötchen" is better.
I'll have a look if I find a recipe for Kaiserbrötchen. I have a recipe for Plunderteig and will have a look if I find a recipe for the fruits in jelly. ?Ein deutsche speise? = a german restaurant? how was the restaurant? I hope food tasted well.

Sorry, for the long delay. Here is the first recipe. The next will follow faster (I hope). Please ask if something is unclear.
Germknoedel
(recipe from www.cookingclub.de)
Austria / Dessert
4 servings
you need ca. 30 min
Ingredients :
30 gr (1oz) yeast
500 gr (18oz) flour
salt
70 gr (2.5) sugar
70 gr (2.5) butter
250 ml (8.3fl.oz) milk
1 yolk
1 egg
lemon peel grinded
1 packet vanilla sugar (8gr / 0.28oz)
Ingredients for the filling:
300 gr (10.6oz) Plum butter
1tablespoon Rum
150 gr (5.3oz) ground poppy seed
powdered sugar to dust
100 (3.5oz) gr butter
Preparation:
prepare the sponge
heat the milk until it is lukewarm. Melt the yeast in the milk and mix it with the sugar and some flour. Put it to a warm place to expand.
prepare the dough
put all ingredients to the sponge and knead it well. Form it to a ball dust it with a bit flour and cover it with a towel. put it to a warm place to expand.
Mix the Plum Butter with the rum. Cut with a tablespoon a small peace of the dough and flatten it with your hands. Take a teaspoon of the plum butter and put it into the middle. Pull the edges of the dough over the plum butter and form it to a ball again. Dust a board with flour and put the germknoedel on it to expand again.
Refine the Germknoedel for 12 minutes in a greased colander in steam. It is very important to cover the Germknoedel while refining them in the steam. Cover the Germknoedel with hot Butter, the poppy seed and the sugar and serve them directly.
You can also boil the germknoedel in Water but they become better when you refine them in steam.

Keine problem! :) Ich bin nicht dans ein eile. Heute ich habe gehort wir haben ein Deutsche spiese en meine stadt - Ich bin sehr aufgeregt! Huete nacht ich werde gehen wenn ich habe der zeit.
Fur der brotchen, ein allgemeines (is that the correct word for general?) rezept ist gut. Kaiserbrot ist sehr gut auch (mmmmm heisse kaiserbrot mit kase und salami! :D). Mit der plunderteig, der ist ein gelatin zu stecken der fucht auf der teig, nein? Und ich kann habt alles frucht...
